We were also extremely aggressive in the first set.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maddy Brewster (Clear Lake) led the offense for the Eagles with 10 kills and Stella Hill (Clear Lake) added six kills and 14 digs. Brewster also led the defense with 15 digs while Breanna Pyzer (Middletown) had 12 digs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe started off on fire,\u201d Edmonds said of the first-set win. \u201cWe made a few mistakes in the second set and we kind of let that determine the rest of the game. We couldn\u2019t get ourselves out of that funk for the next three sets.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Edmonds said there plenty of positives for her players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThey played hard and there were some great rallies, but we just couldn\u2019t finish,\u201d she said. \u201cIt was a great experience to play a four-year university.
