Danny Yell and Colton Noonis anchored the Colts\u2019 defense with six tackles apiece while teammates Jeremiah Reyes and Cormic Lloyd each had five. Gunner Adams added three more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis was a great team win for us and much needed before we face a really good football team in Fort Bragg&nbsp; (4-1) next week,\u201d Middletown head coach Cody Smith said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eli Hartley rushed for 62 yards on five carries while Shane Blanton gained 36 yards on his only carry of the day. Overall, the Colt finished with 274 rushing yards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Middletown led 18-0 at halftime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe knew coming into this game Willits was going to be a tougher team than we have faced the last couple of weeks,\u201d Smith said. \u201cProud of this team and how they stepped up to the challenge. I can\u2019t say enough about our entire team blocking to the whistle this week and our backs blocking down the field.
