{"id":7210,"date":"2026-09-21T01:22:39","date_gmt":"2026-09-21T01:22:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briansumptersports.com\/?p=7210"},"modified":"2026-09-21T01:22:39","modified_gmt":"2026-09-21T01:22:39","slug":"suzor-boehn-come-up-big-for-northshore-jvs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briansumptersports.com\/?p=7210","title":{"rendered":"Suzor, Boehn come up big for Northshore JVs"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Cougars knock off Chargers to improve to 2-1 on the season<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lake County Sports on Facebook<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CLOVERDALE &gt;&gt; Zaedyn Suzor had a great big day for the junior varsity Northshore Cougars in a 26-14 road win against the Cloverdale Chargers on Saturday during Mendo-Lake Empire Junior Football League action in Cloverdale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Suzor rushed for 149 yards and two touchdowns while also catching three pass for 35 yards as the Cougars improved to 2-1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis was a bouncback game for this team,\u201d Northshore head coach Bradley Brackett said. \u201cThe kids had a chip on their shoulder from the loss and we came out strong, with a score on the first play of the game.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dean Boehm also came up big for the Cougars with 210 all-purpose yards, including one rushing touchdown and another touchdown on a kickoff return.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Northshore defensive leaders were Suzor with seven tackles, Declan Elgethun with six, Boehm with four, including one tackle for loss, and Bobby Wenning with three tackles and one sack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis was a team win,\u201d Brackett said. \u201cThe line blocked well all game.
