{"id":6975,"date":"2026-08-28T19:50:03","date_gmt":"2026-08-28T19:50:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briansumptersports.com\/?p=6975"},"modified":"2026-08-28T19:50:03","modified_gmt":"2026-08-28T19:50:03","slug":"pickens-first-woman-to-ace-no-15-at-hvl","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briansumptersports.com\/?p=6975","title":{"rendered":"Pickens first woman to ace No. 15 at HVL"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>HVL club members makes course history in a memorable family moment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lake County Sports on Facebook<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE &gt;&gt; It took 29 years for lightning to strike in the same place, but it finally did earlier this week on the infamous 15<sup>th<\/sup> hole at Hidden Valley Lake Course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tiffany Pickens, a member of the Hidden Valley Lake Women\u2019s Golf Club, became the first woman and only the second person in course history to make a hole-in-one at the 15<sup>th<\/sup> hole while playing from the women\u2019s tee, a drive of 251 yards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even more incredible is that the only other person to ace the hole, Dick Scott, a longtime and much-loved Hidden Valley Lake golfer who passed away April 26, is Pickens\u2019 maternal grandfather.
