{"id":6174,"date":"2026-04-02T17:18:48","date_gmt":"2026-04-02T17:18:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briansumptersports.com\/?p=6174"},"modified":"2026-04-02T17:18:48","modified_gmt":"2026-04-02T17:18:48","slug":"middletowns-sisson-fires-low-round","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briansumptersports.com\/?p=6174","title":{"rendered":"Middletown&#8217;s Sisson fires low round"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Mustangs win second straight Coastal Mountain Conference South match<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lake County Sports on Facebook<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ROHNERT PARK &gt;&gt; Middletown High School\u2019s David Sisson fired the low individual round for the third week in a row, firing an 80 on Wednesday as the Middletown High School golf team posted its second straight Coastal Mountain Conference South victory, this time at the par-71 Foxtail South course in Rohnert Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sisson carded three birdies during his round as Middletown finished with a team score of 369 to beat out Sonoma Academy (387), Technology (390) and St. Helena (incomplete).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sonoma Academy\u2019s John Berry had the next lowest round, an 87, while Middletown\u2019s Grant McMillian (one birdie) and Sonoma Academy\u2019s Lucas Vaio were a shot back at 88. Sam O\u2019Halloran led Technology with an 89.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While there was a threat of rain Wednesday, the CMC South golfers played a precipitation-free round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Middletown opened up its South lead, improving to 8-1.
