{"id":6071,"date":"2026-03-26T17:37:44","date_gmt":"2026-03-26T17:37:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briansumptersports.com\/?p=6071"},"modified":"2026-03-26T17:37:44","modified_gmt":"2026-03-26T17:37:44","slug":"mountain-vista-co-ed-soccer-team-falls-1-0","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briansumptersports.com\/?p=6071","title":{"rendered":"Mountain Vista co-ed soccer team falls 1-0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Lancers&#8217; much-improved effort second time against Pomolita yields closer game<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lake County Sports on Facebook<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>KELSEYVILLE &gt;&gt; In a much-improved effort from their first meeting with Pomolita earlier this month, the Mountain Vista Lancers dropped a 1-0 non-league decision in middle school co-ed soccer action Wednesday in Kelseyville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe fell asleep on a corner kick and they knocked it in,\u201d Mountain Vista head coach Oscar Lopez said of Pomolita\u2019s goal with about 10 minutes left in the second half. \u201cWe played way better than the last time we faced them.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pomolita beat Mountain Vista 9-0 in Ukiah when the teams met for the first time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe spent about 80 percent of the game on their side of the field,\u201d Lopez said. \u201cTheir keeper made three saves right at the line. It was a case of we played well but just couldn\u2019t score.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While Mountain Vista couldn\u2019t find the net, Pomolita\u2019s head coach and assistant coach couldn\u2019t keep their cool.
