{"id":4598,"date":"2025-11-03T04:30:56","date_gmt":"2025-11-03T04:30:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briansumptersports.com\/?p=4598"},"modified":"2025-11-03T04:30:56","modified_gmt":"2025-11-03T04:30:56","slug":"county-wrestlers-take-nine-firsts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briansumptersports.com\/?p=4598","title":{"rendered":"County wrestlers take nine firsts"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Brantley Paminto, Maverick Paminto win two divisions apiece<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lake County Sports on Facebook<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RIO LINDA &gt;&gt; Seven Lake County wrestlers competing with Spring Hills Wrestling Club captured eight first-place medals, two seconds and two thirds Sunday during the Sierra Kids Halloween Madness Tournament in Rio Linda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spring Hills led the tournament in pins (27) and tech falls (six).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brantley Paminto scored a pair of firsts, winning at 82-91 pounds and 99-113 pounds in the 12-and-under division. His five pins were the third most by a tournament wrestler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Maverick Paminto also won two divisions \u2013 58-63 and 63-65 \u2013in the 10-and-under division. His seven combined pins (six) and tech falls (one) led the tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gabriel Navarro picked up a first in the 92-98 middle school division and a second in the 100-106 high school division. He logged three pins and won two matches by decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brodie McDaniel won the 73-75 middle school girls division and was second in the 74-75 division for 12-and-under wrestlers. She finished with one pin, one tech fall and two decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other firsts went to Jay T. Farrell and Cristian Navarro. Farrell won the 100-111 middle school division with three pins and one tech fall.
