Young won both of his matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earning seconds were Thomas Philpot, who went 3-1 with two pins and a tech fall, and Kailaya Philpot in the middle school girls division (125 pounds). She went 3-1 with three pins. Philpot also placed sixth in the high school girls 124-pound division with a 2-3 record that included two pins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elijah Tucker and Jameson Philpot came away with fourth-place finishes, and Kaitlyn Crow placed sixth with a 3-2 record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFor a preseason tournament of such large scale, the wrestlers did amazing with little to no practice beforehand,\u201d Gladiator coach Jonathan Philpot said. \u201cI am proud of all of them.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Seven team members participate in preseason tournament at Rocklin Lake County Sports on Facebook ROCKLIN &gt;&gt; Colin Crow and John Young of the Gladiator Wrestling Club brought home first-place finishes from The Wild West Tournament on Saturday in Rocklin.
