{"id":4177,"date":"2025-10-03T21:16:44","date_gmt":"2025-10-03T21:16:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briansumptersports.com\/?p=4177"},"modified":"2025-10-03T21:16:44","modified_gmt":"2025-10-03T21:16:44","slug":"six-sigma-hosts-ncl-i-cross-country-teams","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briansumptersports.com\/?p=4177","title":{"rendered":"Six Sigma hosts NCL I cross country teams"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Middletown girls take third, boys fourth on 3.3-mile course<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lake County Sports on Facebook<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LOWER LAKE &gt;&gt; Fort Bragg\u2019s boys edged Willits in a tight battle Wednesday during North Central League I cross country action at the 3.3-mile Six Sigma Ranch and Winery course near Lower Lake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of the complete teams in the field, Fort Bragg won by a single point against Willits, 59-60, while St. Helena was third with 69, Middletown fourth with 79 and Lower Lake fifth with 168.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In girls action, St. Helena won with 51 points followed by Kelseyville with 85 and Middletown with 91. There were no other complete teams (at least five runners).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Boys<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cole Lane of Willits dominated the boys race, finishing first in 18 minutes, 52 seconds, nearly a full minute ahead of Fort Bragg\u2019s Johann Garcia (19:51). Third place went to Middletown\u2019s Landon Pisaro (20:07), with Fort Bragg\u2019s Walker Aycock (20:23) and St. Helena\u2019s Charlie Waton (20:58) rounding out the top five.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finishing in the top 10 were Cloverdale\u2019s Gael Lopez, sixth in 21:05; St. Helena\u2019s Oly Dodd, seventh in 21:08; Middletown\u2019s Ren Ueno, eighth in 21:26; Middletown\u2019s Isael Haro, ninth in 21:32; and Willits\u2019 Darli Suarez, 10<sup>th<\/sup> in 22:20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lower Lake\u2019s Emiliano Rivera placed 16<sup>th<\/sup> in 23:03 while Kelseyville\u2019s Maverick Watson (23:10) and Jacob Parker (23:16) finished 18<sup>th<\/sup> and 19<sup>th<\/sup>, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Forty-four runners competed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Girls<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>St. Helena\u2019s Corinna Schlatter won by almost a four-minute margin in the girls race, crossing the finish line in 21:35. A battle for second place went to Cloverdale\u2019s Malia McGrath (25:34), who edged out Fort Bragg\u2019s Emily Olvera (25:43).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Liz Silva (26:06) of Cloverdale and Aylin Aguilar (27:29) of Kelseyville rounded out the top five.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Middletown\u2019s Lupita Cabrera (28:58) placed seventh and teammate Alivia Stark (29:49) came in ninth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cristal Castro Luna of Lower Lake came in 12<sup>th<\/sup> in 31:12.
