Westshore\u2019s defense also excelled as Butcher, Adrian Wright and Noah Cochrane had two sacks each. Julian Rascon finished with four tackles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Westshore (6-0) stopped Napa on a fourth-down play in the first quarter and scored three plays later on a Hopkins 8-yad run, which was set up by a Hopkins 15-yard run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wright made several key stops on defense during Napa\u2019s next possession, leading to a punt. A Hopkins 31-yard run to the Napa 10-yard line set up Butcher\u2019s 10-yard touchdown run.&nbsp; Hopkins scored a short time later on a 10-yard run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After another defensive stop, the Cardinals scored again on a Hopkins 25-yard run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the second half, a John Franklin 25-yard run set up a Butcher 3-yard touchdown run, at which point the mercy rule went into effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jackson Bosch intercepted two passes for Westshore and Brady Liske had one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur D came to play,\u201d Westshore head coach Jeremy Hopkins said. \u201cWe are playing a very physical brand of football right now, which is a good sign, especially since we play a powerhouse like Middletown next week. It should be a fun game.
