{"id":2629,"date":"2025-03-11T21:40:10","date_gmt":"2025-03-11T21:40:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briansumptersports.com\/?p=2629"},"modified":"2025-03-11T21:40:10","modified_gmt":"2025-03-11T21:40:10","slug":"khs-boys-volleyball-outlasts-ukiah","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briansumptersports.com\/?p=2629","title":{"rendered":"KHS boys volleyball outlasts Ukiah"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Knights hit the road for five-set victory over Wildcats<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lake County Sports on Facebook<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>UKIAH &gt;&gt; Kelseyville High School\u2019s boys volleyball team went the distance Monday with Ukiah, beating the Wildcats 25-23, 21-25, 25-20, 21-25, 15-8 in a non-league match at Ukiah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Andon Beall\u2019s 17 kills, three blocks and two aces sparked the Knights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cStill working on a solid lineup,\u201d Kelseyville head coach Donelle McCallister said. \u201cWe are running a 5-1 with Julian (Armas) setting all the way around. While we won the match, we still need to work on the technical aspect of volleyball.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Armas had 28 assists. Other team leaders were Otoniel Rivas with 28 digs and Jayden Teabo with 12 kills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLast night, Ukiah sent a lot of shots and tips over, which should be easy to handle,\u201d McCallister said. \u201cOur boys need to learn defensive patterns and transition to defense.
