{"id":1546,"date":"2024-12-02T19:19:09","date_gmt":"2024-12-02T19:19:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briansumptersports.com\/?p=1546"},"modified":"2024-12-02T19:42:24","modified_gmt":"2024-12-02T19:42:24","slug":"seven-county-players-honored-on-first-team","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briansumptersports.com\/?p=1546","title":{"rendered":"Seven county players honored on first team"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>All-North Central League I boys soccer team includes 14 county players in all<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lake County Sports on Facebook<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LAKE COUNTY &gt;&gt; Seven Lake County players, including two each from Lower Lake, Middletown and Upper Lake high schools, have been named to the All-North Central League I boys soccer team as selected by the league\u2019s coaches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fort Bragg won a three-team NCL I race that went down to the wire, finishing with an 8-1-1 record that edged out Lower Lake (8-2) and Middletown (7-2-1) for first place. Irving Duran of Fort Bragg, a senior, was named the league\u2019s most valuable player and joined teammates Johnny Cazares, a junior, and Matteo Caccamo, a sophomore, on the All-League first team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the runner-up Lower Lake Trojans, first-team selections were juniors Agustin Sanchez Navarro and Jorge Carlos Correa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Third-place Middletown was represented on the first team by seniors Alexander Gonzalez and Bryan Sanchez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the fourth-place Willits Wolverines (4-6), first-team picks were Noe Alfaro and Zahyr Lopez (years in school not provided).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fifth-place Clear Lake Cardinals (2-8) were represented on the first team by sophomore Bairo Carmona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Honored from Upper Lake (0-10) on the first team were senior Kyler Brothers and junior Jaden Nunez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Honorable mentions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seven other Lake County players received honorable mentions.
